Self evaluation

During the class, we graded ourself on the draft, and I gave myself 16 as a score. I gave 5 for a analysis of the literary features of the text, since I used a lot of quotes to support and to describe my character. Furthermore, I used really deailed analysis from the text to show Laura's change and affection between two characters.
I gave 7 to 8 for the exploration of the chosen approach to the text. I could not give me full score because although I wrote about a focused and detailed exploration, I did not fully explain the dramatic potential of the chosen extract through my character. Instead of just explaining about the character, I should focus more on her relationship with other characters and provide more text from previous scenes that can describe her significant change after meeting Jim. Furthermore, I can explain more about Jim to show the personality difference between Jim and Laura, and to emphasis how Jim largely affect to Laura's life.
For the use of language and structure, I gave 4. I think my work is well organized with appropriate language, but I should prevent using same words repeatedly. Moreover, I should spend more time writing about performance since I spent too much on exploring character and its features.
