"Propless" review

I watched “Propless” presented by Cheshire Academy at lecture hall on 18th, Friday evening. It was a special show compared to the previous plays since the show communicated and even invited audience to the stage. Personally, it was so much more interesting than other plays since I loved the way the students led the show and tried hard to communicate and involve audience to the show. This show did not have much script or movements, because the show was led by most of audience’s opinions and their participations. During watching the show, I thought the players would be really nervous throughout the whole show, since they had to react creatively about the theme or words that were given by audience. I kind of respected the players at the same time; it would be little boring if they could not think of creative story, but they could able to make funny stories in a short time and communicate with audience very well. Furthermore, the players were really cooperative and well-collaborated. Sometimes when one was kind of stuck or hesitated while on the stage, the other one came up and helped through providing a better idea. I also want to give a big compliment to Sam that she was like a professional master of the ceremonies; she was never being nervous and gave players enough time to perform, and comfortably communicated with the audience through giving them opportunities to speak or come out on the stage. WIthout Sam’s leadership and and players’ witness, the play would not be as fun as it actually was. One thing that I kind of regret was that I didn’t participate during their performance, but I would definitely be involved if I have another chance next time. I want to give a big applause to all the players who performed well, and also to the audience who gave them creative topics that led show to be more interesting.
