What is theater, in your opinion?

In my opinion, theater is an art that people show all their emotions, thoughts, and tendencies through using their own movements, voice, and gestures. Sometimes, theater can also be a medium which actors use in order to show their strong opinions by acting. Furthermore, theater is lives of people that actors often show their realities or habits to the audience. Theater can be so much thing to express our feelings, therefore audience often being persuaded or impressed by watching a show. Through theater, actors and people communicate together; actors act and move to tell the purpose of the show, and audience try hard to find the initial meaning of the it while watching. The main purpose or meaning of the show can vary: it might be about politics, something very serious, love, which pulls out people’s emotion and social, like everyday issues. People frequently treats theater as an entertainment since it is a form of art, and we even learn some lessons through often comparing the characters with themselves. Theater can even change a person’s whole life by impressing them with the context of the story. Personally, I like theater since I like the feeling when I am dragged into the show, and watch the whole show in characters’ perspectives. I further find the connection or common factors between me and the main character, and by doing this, it brings me an opportunity to look myself. For performers, they must think how to express their emotions to audience. Since theater priorities the communication between audience and performers, it is significant for them to be realistic and serious during the whole show. In my experience, I enjoy theater since I like acting or talking in front of a lot audience; however there are some difficulties that I have to go through. For instance, the character should be serious all the time, but it was pretty challengeable for me, because I oftenly laughed while reading lines or acting with partners. Furthermore, it was pretty difficult to memorize if the line was so long. Even though I memorized the line, it was hard to act out realistically and bring the perfect lines at the same time. Despite to some challenges, I still love acting and communicating with audience on theater since I can express my emotions in various ways.
