Diane Ackerman notes
Notes:
-Her poems were uncommon and significantly different from the style of other authors.
-Through the poem, she tried to show the connection between nature and the universe.
-She used lots of similes and metaphors.
-While in the poem "WE ARE LISTENING", each line contains lots of meanings/emotions inside, the lines in "The Consolation of Apricots" are pretty simple and explaining the warmth and taste of the apricot.
Questions:
-Where did you get the inspiration of interplaying the themes of the universe and human life at the same time?
- Through your poems, what do you expect for the audience to learn/feel about?
